We accept purchase orders for schools, NHS & local authorities.

NEXT DAY DELIVERY

We aim to deliver all products which are in stock and available on a Next Working Day basis, directly to your door within 24 working hours, provided we receive your order before 1pm.

We class working days as Monday-Friday, excluding bank holidays and public holidays. As a general rule, if you place your order on Tuesday (before the cut-off time) we will endeavour to deliver on Wednesday. If you place your order on a Saturday or Sunday, we will dispatch your order the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday.  

Our couriers can deliver during any working hour of the day.

Saturday deliveries, or AM deliveries can be arranged at an additional cost.
Please note – Boards Direct sell a huge range of items, from pens, to boards, to desks. Not all items are available for next day delivery. If in any doubt, please call us, we are always on hand to discuss your specific requirement.

We also have a Next Day Delivery filter on our product pages, enabling you to select purely those items available in stock and on a next day basis.

In the unlikely event that we should be out of stock of an item and the website has not been updated, we will advise you of a new shipment date and deliver to you as soon as new stock is available, or advise you of alternative available products.

Large orders may be sent as a palletised delivery, or delivered by one of our own vehicles, which may extend the delivery time.  This includes orders for large quantities of items ordinarily available on a Next Working Day basis. In these instances we will contact you to arrange the most convenient date for delivery.

 

FREE DELIVERY

We offer FREE delivery for all orders over £25 inc.vat.

For orders below £25.00 inc VAT, there will be a small order delivery charge of £5.95 inc VAT.

Delivery to all non-mainland GB addresses will be charged at £25.00 inc VAT.  This includes delivery to some remote areas of the UK, and all of Northern Ireland. 

Please note that depending on location, large deliveries, or deliveries for items requiring special handling (such as glass or large items of furniture) may require an extended delivery date, and could incur an additional delivery charge which will be advised and agreed with the customer before shipment.

 

FURNITURE DELIVERY & GOLD SERVICE DELIVERY

Items of furniture generally require assembly on delivery. For furniture where our Gold Service Delivery service is applicable (Playscapes Early Years Zones or orders of £3000 and above), our team will deliver, unpack, configure the units in a room of your choice, and remove all packaging, on a day that is convenient for you.

For smaller orders, including items of seating and desking, our Assembly Service can be arranged at an additional cost.

 

RETURNS

  1. Businesses (B2B)

Businesses (B2B)
If you require to return an item which is not faulty or damaged, but is unwanted or has been ordered in error, you must advise us within 14 days of the date of receiving the item.

All such returns will be subject to a 20% handling and restocking charge, plus the cost of collection if you wish for us to arrange this.

If you wish to return an item yourself, please email sales@boardsdirect.co.uk and we will provide the correct returns address. Please do not attempt to return an item without first contacting us, as we have various stock locations. Please ensure you take out relevant insurance on the item, as we can only issue a credit on undamaged
Items. Boards Direct accepts no responsibility for any loss of or damage to products in transit where Boards Direct has not provided the collection services.

For all returns there is a minimum handling charge of £25 + VAT.  We will process the refund amount within 14 days of receiving the item back.

To be eligible for a return credit, all items must be UNUSED, in pristine (as new) condition, and repackaged securely in the original packaging.

Please include a printed copy of your order confirmation along with your package, otherwise we will not be able to identify and correctly process the return.
Items that are not faulty and ordered as bespoke or made to order items including any printed items (items with customer specific graphics) or other such non-returnable items are not eligible for refund or return under any circumstances.

 

  1. Consumers (B2C)

If you require to return an item which is not faulty or damaged, but is unwanted or has been ordered in error, you must advise us within 14 days of the date of receiving the item to be entitled to a full refund.

We can arrange the collection of the unwanted item, and we will pass on to you any collection charges that are incurred. These charges will be deducted from the refund amount due.

Please do not attempt to return an item without first contacting us, as we have various stock locations. DAMAGED & DEFECTIVE ITEMS

Items which arrive damaged due to courier mishandling, or those items which are defective will be replaced, provided the damage or defect is reported to us within 24 hours of receipt.

We will require photographic evidence of the damage or defect, which should be emailed to us by replying to your order acknowledgment email.

If it is clear that your item is damaged upon receipt, if possible please refuse your delivery and report to us within 24 hours by replying to your order acknowledgment email.

We will arrange for the collection of the damaged or defective item at a time separate to your redelivery, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed.

 

 

NON GB and overseas orders

We are happy to assist individuals or Companies from outside GB who wish to purchase from Boards Direct. Please email sales@boardsdirect.co.uk with a description of the item(s) required, delivery address and Company details (if applicable). Please note that for orders placed on our website for delivery outside GB, a standard £25 shipping fee will be added, and UK VAT will also be added, as the website is unable to calculate the exact shipping fee for your order, or to distinguish whether the order placer is an individual (where UK VAT should be applied) or a Company (where UK VAT is exempt). Therefore we would need to make the necessary adjustments to carriage and UK VAT subsequently to the purchase.
